Fire damage restoration

Damage assessment and control
On being called to the site, our immediate priority is to both assess the damage and to control and limit ongoing damage. By quickly assessing the damage and controlling any ongoing damage, we can both prepare a cost estimate of the restoration and also mitigate the loss to the householder and the insurance company. Damage is typically a combination of water damage from the fire department, smoke damage, odour damage and flame damage and is particularly invasive.

Property control
Post fire, all affected loose articles of furniture, clothing, bedding etc need to be identified, photographed, tagged and removed for restoration. Unaffected articles may be left in unaffected areas unless a total evacuation is required. Once all property has been evacuated or stabilised, the restoration process can commence on site.

Structural stabilisation and restoration
There is often structural damage with fire damage and once the site has been stabilised the structure is accessed and restoration is commenced. The HVAC system is inspected and either cleaed and sanitised or replaced. Floor coverings, window coverings and wall and ceiling coatings are cleaned, restored or replaced. Often replacement is the only way of restoring a site in the event of a fire.

Flood and water damage restoration

Damage assessment and control
On being called to the site, our immediate priority is to both assess the damage and to control and limit ongoing damage. By quickly assessing the damage and controlling any ongoingdamage, we can both prepare a cost estimate of the restoration and also mitigate the loss to the householder and the insurance company - this ensures that the turnaround time from commencement to completion is also reduced.

Water erradication
Once the site has been assessed and the ongoing damage mitigated or restricted by removing at risk or already damaged items of furniture, clothing etc; the next imediate task is to remove all excess water from the premises by extraction, leaving the site ready for restoration.

Restoration
Following the removal of all the 'loose' water, the removal of all at risk and/or damaged loose articles from the site ad the limiting of ongoing damage to property, the restoration process can commence. This is achieved by stabilising the indoor environment by the monitoring and removal of all excess moisture from the site, using air movers and dehumidifiers and monitoring equipment.

Security and quality controls
All items removed from the site are tagged and photographed and our site manager will ensure that all work is completed to our high professional standards in the fastest time possible.

Why choose us?

There are a lot of carpet cleaning firms out there - so why should you choose us?

Our company - we have been in business since 1986, so we know what we are doing.

Our people - the owners of the company actively work every day cleaning carpets.
Our employees are personally trained by my brother and I (we own the business by the way) and all of our staff are uniformed, courteous and extremely proficient at their work.

Our equipment - experience (bitter experience) has taught my brother and I that we have to invest in the very best equipment available.

That is why we operate truck mounted steam cleaning machines (pictured right) which generate their own power and hot water. Our investment in the best equipment cleans your carpet more thoroughly, leaves your carpet drier and uses less water.
